The harvest season in the countryside is normaly associated with the images of hard-wordking farmers and a cheeful atmosphere. This season has long been a source of inspiration for artists of folk songs, poetry, music, etc.

Rice harvester machines are operating in the high fields.Bouquets of rice are carried to the bank of the field..... or transported by boat.
Rice threshing machines are somtimes taken to the bank of the canal.Farmers are happy with their fruitful harvest season.According to Mr. Vu Van Tinh, Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Quang Yen town's Yen Hai ward, this year's rice yield is estimated at 62.9 quintals/ha.
