On July 20, a delegation from the Vietnamese Ministry of Finance, led by Deputy Minister Tran Quoc Phuong, held a working session with Quang Ninh authorities on preparations for ministerial-level meetings during APEC Year 2027.
The APEC Finance Ministers’ Meeting is one of the key events within the framework of APEC 2027 hosted by Vietnam, scheduled to take place in Ha Long in October 2027. The event is expected to welcome 21 delegations from APEC member economies, 10 delegations from international organisations and invited guests. Quang Ninh’s Vice Chairman Le Van Anh affirmed that the meeting is a politically significant event to promote Quang Ninh’s image to international delegates. Backed by its extensive experience in hosting major international events, Quang Ninh will make thorough preparations to ensure the success of the APEC Finance Ministers’ Meeting.
