In pursuit of sustainable development goals, the Quang Ninh Tourism Association will coordinate with the Vietnam Tourism Association to study the implementation of green tourism criteria for tourism and service businesses operating in the province.
The criteria will focus on environmental protection, cultural preservation and community responsibility. Beyond serving as an evaluation framework, the green tourism criteria are intended to guide businesses in transitioning towards more sustainable development models, improving destination quality and responding to growing demand for environmentally responsible travel. The adoption of green tourism criteria is expected to strengthen the province’s attractiveness to visitors while supporting the effective implementation of national green growth objectives.
