At the heart of the festival was the captivating art program “Visting the land of Soong Co and floating clouds”, held at the San Chi cultural center. Through graceful dances, folk rituals, and vivid re-creations of traditional customs such as the Tac Xinh dance, harvest thanksgiving, and prayers for good fortune, the show offered a soulful glimpse into the life and beliefs of the San Chi and Dao peoples.

The festival unfolded like a living painting with golden terraced fields glistening under the autumn sun, the gentle rhythm of Soong Co melodies echoing across the hills, and locals in traditional attire welcoming visitors with warm smiles.

Highlights included the “Golden silk waves” fashion show, traditional games such as tug-of-war, top spinning, and stick pushing, and lively San Chi women’s football matches. Visitors also enjoyed unique community-based tourism experiences in traditional earthen houses, discovering the charm of highland hospitality.

More than a festive occasion, the event serves as a cultural bridge, preserving and sharing the traditions of the San Chi, Dao, and Tay communities with visitors from near and far.

“By harmoniously blending tradition with modern creativity, the Golden Harvest Festival aims to build a sustainable community tourism brand rooted in local culture and people”, said Vice Chairman of the Commune People’s Committee and Head of the Festival Organizing Committee, Dinh Van Khoi.

As the golden season paints the highlands in warmth and joy, the melodies of Soong Co and the laughter of local villagers invite travelers to return so that they can once again lose themselves in the beauty, heritage, and heartfelt spirit of Dong Ngu’s golden land.
