Van Don International Airport will officially operate the first charter flight connecting Van Don and Bao’an Airport in Shenzhen, China on November 1. The service, using a Boeing B737-800 aircraft, will depart Shenzhen at 6.10 pm and arrive in Van Don at 8.10 pm. The return flight will leave Van Don at 9.10 pm and land in Shenzhen at midnight (Vietnam time).
The flights will run on a regular schedule, with the first departures set for November 1, 6, 10, 15, 20, and 24.
This route marks a joint effort between Quang Ninh Province and local businesses to attract more international visitors, particularly from key markets like China.
It also contributes to Quang Ninh’s target of welcoming over 20 million tourists in 2025, including 4.5 million international arrivals.
