Fireworks to be displayed in 11 locations in Quang Ninh
Fireworks will light up the skies over 11 locations across Quang Ninh province at 0am on January 18, 2025 (Lunar New Year’s Eve), as decided by the Quang Ninh People’s Committee.
The firework displays will welcome the Lunar New Year Festival, Viet Nam’s largest national holiday.
Specifically, fireworks will last for a total of 15 minutes with low-range displays.
Fireworks will be displayed at 11 venues in Ha Long city (30/10 Square and Hoanh Bo ward), Cam Pha city (12/11 Square and Cua Ong temple), Uong Bi city (the park lake), Dong Trieu (the central square), Tien Yen (Tien Yen townlet), Dam Ha (Ha Quang Voc Statue), Van Don (Ao Tien International Port), Hai Ha (Quang Ha bridge), and Binh Lieu (25/12 Square).
Particularly, Mong Cai City will host two firework display locations. A low-altitude firework display will take place at the Bac Luan II Bridge Border Gate area from 11:00 PM to 11:15 PM on January 28, 2025. Meanwhile, a high-altitude firework display will be held at the Central Square of the Mong Cai City Media and Culture Center from 12:00 AM (January 28, 2025) to 12:15 AM (January 29, 2025).
The Provincial People's Committee requests the People's Committees of districts, towns, and cities to coordinate with the Provincial Military Command to prepare all necessary conditions for organizing firework displays in accordance with regulations, ensuring absolute safety.
Funding for the fireworks show will be contributed by local businesses.
