On the evening of August 28, the art programme “Quang Ninh – A City shining into the future” brought a spectacular artistic experience to the shores of Ha Long Bay.

At exactly midnight on February 17 – the first day of the Lunar New Year – dazzling fireworks illuminated the skies across various localities in Quang Ninh Province, welcoming the Year of the Horse 2026. Large crowds gathered with family and friends to admire the displays and exchange heartfelt New Year greetings at the sacred moment of Lunar New Year’s Eve.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has given the green light to Quang Ninh Province’s proposal to host fireworks displays in celebration of upcoming national holidays. Alongside Ha Long City, Cam Pha and Mong Cai will also join in the festivities with vibrant fireworks shows.

Fireworks will light up the skies over 11 locations across Quang Ninh province at 0am on January 18, 2025 (Lunar New Year’s Eve), as decided by the Quang Ninh People’s Committee.
