Amid the summer heat, Khe Song - Bac Waterfall in Yen Tu Ward offers an ideal retreat into nature, featuring cascading white waterfalls, cool forest streams and the distinctive cultural heritage of the Dao Thanh Y community at the foot of Yen Tu Mountain.
Just a 20-minute drive from National Highway 18 to Khe Su 2 Village in Yen Tu Ward, visitors will find themselves entering what feels like a completely different world. After exploring the streams and waterfalls, visitors can enjoy regional specialties such as hump-shaped sticky rice cakes, stream fish, free-range hill chicken, indigenous pork, five-coloured sticky rice, wild vegetables and dishes prepared according to the culinary traditions of the Dao Thanh Y ethnic people. Most ingredients are locally raised or grown and prepared by residents, reflecting the simple and authentic character of a community-based tourism destination.
