Just a 20-minute drive from National Highway 18 to Khe Su 2 Village in Yen Tu Ward, visitors will find themselves entering what feels like a completely different world. The heat of the city quickly gives way to the refreshing air of the mountains and forests. The sound of water flowing over rocks, birds calling from the treetops and the lush greenery covering the landscape combine to create a tranquil natural setting that often encourages visitors to stay longer than planned.
According to local residents, the stream is home to 13 natural waterfall tiers, each with its own distinctive character. Some sections flow gently over moss-covered rocks, while others plunge forcefully, creating white sprays of water. The most notable is Bac Waterfall, where water cascades from above onto a natural rock bed, forming a white curtain resembling a silk ribbon against the green backdrop of the forest. On sunny days, sunlight reflecting on the water brightens the entire area.

Khe Song - Bac Waterfall is well suited for weekend picnics, with bamboo shelters set amid the natural surroundings. Visitors can relax by the stream, enjoy outdoor activities beneath the trees, or follow trails along the watercourse and explore the waterfall tiers through light trekking routes.
The site also offers opportunities to connect with the cultural space of the Dao Thanh Y community in Khe Su 2 Village. Visitors can learn about traditional costumes, brocade embroidery, folk rituals and the daily life of local residents. Handicrafts, embroidered products, herbal items and OCOP products from the Yen Tu area are among the locally distinctive souvenirs available to visitors.

Local cuisine is another highlight. After exploring the streams and waterfalls, visitors can enjoy regional specialties such as hump-shaped sticky rice cakes, stream fish, free-range hill chicken, indigenous pork, five-coloured sticky rice, wild vegetables and dishes prepared according to the culinary traditions of the Dao Thanh Y ethnic people. Most ingredients are locally raised or grown and prepared by residents, reflecting the simple and authentic character of a community-based tourism destination.
