According to tourism service providers, the number of visitor arrivals to Minh Chau and Quan Lan islands has increased by around 15 per cent compared to the same period last year. Since the start of the summer season, beaches on the islands have remained bustling with tourists, with weekend peaks attracting between 5,000 and 7,000 tourist arrivals. Hotels and homestays are often fully booked early, while high-speed boats and electric vehicles operate continuously to meet rising travel demand. Van Don Special Zone is pursuing a high-quality and sustainable approach to marine and island tourism development, closely linked with natural resource conservation and product diversification. With its unspoiled landscapes, clean environment and continuously improving transport and tourism infrastructure, Quan Lan–Minh Chau remains an attractive coastal destination in Quang Ninh in particular and northern Vietnam in general.
