The closing ceremony of the 2026 People’s Public Security Military, Martial Arts and Sports Games – Region I took place on May 28 at the headquarters of the Quang Ninh Provincial Police.
Held from May 21 to 28, the event brought together more than 1,900 athletes from over 80 delegations representing public security units and localities nationwide. Competitors took part in a wide range of events in martial arts, military disciplines, pickleball and men’s football, including several newly introduced categories requiring advanced techniques, tactical skills and close coordination.
At the closing ceremony, the Organising Committee presented first, second, third and consolation prizes to participating delegations, with the Hanoi Police as the overall winner. Many collectives and individuals were also commended for their outstanding contributions to coordinating and organising the event.
Quang Ninh Province was honoured to coordinate with the Ministry of Public Security in successfully hosting the 2026 People’s Public Security Military, Martial Arts and Sports Games – Region I. The event also serves as a source of encouragement for the province to continue promoting its responsibility in safeguarding national defence and security, as well as contributing to the cause of national construction and protection in the new context.
Earlier, at the opening ceremony, high-level technical performances requiring close and precise coordination received enthusiastic support and applause from local residents and visitors.
