On January 19, at Song Khoai Industrial Park, Hiep Hoa Ward, Quang Ninh Province, the Castem Vietnam Precision Mechanical Manufacturing Plant was officially inaugurated, marking another milestone in the development of the province’s processing and manufacturing industry.
The Castem Vietnam Precision Mechanical Manufacturing Plant project has a total investment of USD 18.6 million, covering on an area of 2 hectares. The plant has been completed and is currently in the trial operation phase, producing high-tech precision mechanical products, including complex cast components. Designed with a total capacity of 6.4 million products per year, implemented in two phases. Phase 1 has a capacity of 3.2 million products annually, while Phase 2 is scheduled for completion in July 2027.
Once fully operational, the Plant is expected to create jobs for hundreds of workers, contribute to increased export turnover and budget revenue, and support Quang Ninh’s goal of developing a green, sustainable industry sector driven by science, technology and innovation.
