A survey delegation from Vietnam’s Ministry of Construction, led by Deputy Minister Nguyen Tuong Van, held a working session with Quang Ninh’s authority on the Quang Ninh Urban Master Plan to 2050 with a vision to 2075, as well as the proposal for recognition of Quang Ninh Urban Area as a first class one.
Commending Quang Ninh’s efforts in preparing the master plan, Deputy Minister Nguyen Tuong Van requested the province and its consulting units to review approved planning schemes in order to identify inherited contents and areas requiring adjustment to better suit spatial and infrastructure conditions. He also called for updates to the land database system to support the quantification of infrastructure, urban and population development targets.
Quang Ninh’s Chairman Bui Van Khang expressed his hope that the Ministry of Construction would continue supporting the province throughout the preparation and appraisal of the master plan to 2050 with a vision to 2075.
