The Vietnam-Laos Trade Fair 2026, or VIETLAO EXPO 2026, opened in Vientiane, Laos, on the afternoon of July 16. Quang Ninh contributes 70 four- and five-star OCOP products.
The fair comprises 250 standard booths, including 120 operated by nearly 80 reputable Vietnamese businesses and brands. Products on display span pharmaceuticals and medical equipment; agricultural, forestry and aquatic products and processed foods; garments and fashion; handicrafts and interior and exterior decoration; plastics; and consumer goods.
Quang Ninh is showcasing 70 four- and five-star OCOP products, including yellow camellia tea, shredded oyster floss, northeastern herbal tea, Ha Long squid cakes, ba kich liquor, Cai Rong fish sauce and Binh Lieu arrowroot vermicelli.
In addition to product displays, retail sales and promotional activities, VIETLAO EXPO 2026 also features direct business-to-business meetings connecting Vietnamese manufacturers with distributors, agents and potential partners in Laos.
Held annually since 2007, the trade promotion event contributes to promoting the image of Vietnam and Vietnamese businesses, boosting exports, and expanding distribution networks for Vietnamese goods in Laos and northeastern Thailand. The fair runs from July 16 to 20.
