On August 18, at the Quang Ninh Museum and Library, the Vietnam Fine Arts Association, in coordination with Quang Ninh province, opened the 30th Region II (Red River Delta) Fine Arts Exhibition 2026.
The exhibition features 200 works by 200 painters and sculptors who are members of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association, as well as members and collaborators of local fine arts associations from Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh, Hung Yen and Ninh Binh provinces and Hai Phong city. Quang Ninh, the host locality, has 23 works by 23 painters and sculptors on display at this year’s exhibition.
The works focus on themes including history, revolution, national construction and defence, and studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style... They also reflect the artists’ individual approaches to form, artistic language and materials.
The exhibition is a long-standing annual activity for painters, sculptors and visual artists from provinces and cities in the region. Its 30th edition marks an important milestone and further underscoresvQuang Ninh’s role and position in hosting major regional cultural and artistic events.
The exhibition will be open to the public and visitors at Quang Ninh Museum through September 3, 2026.
