From February 3–8, a group of around 150 South Korean golf tourists travelled to Quang Ninh for competitions combined with sightseeing at several of the province’s well-known attractions. This is one of the largest golf tour groups to visit the province since the beginning of the year.
The delegation stayed at a number of Quang Ninh’s prominent hotels and resorts in Quang Ninh, played golf at Tuan Chau Golf Course and FLC Ha Long Golf Club, and visited well-known destinations including Ha Long Bay and the Quang Ninh Museum, while also experiencing the province’s local culture and cuisine.
According to South Korean tour operators, Quang Ninh remains a favourite destination for this market thanks to its diverse and appealing natural landscapes. In recent years, the province has also developed a range of golf courses featuring scenic views and challenging designs, attracting increasing numbers of golf tour groups.
Attracting high-value visitors from South Korea in particular, and international markets in general, is helping Quang Ninh strengthen its brand as a premium global destination, while contributing to the target of welcoming 5.2 million international tourist arrivals in 2026.
