VnExpress Marathon Amazing Ha Long 2022 attracts 11,000 runners
On July 24, the VnExpress Marathon Amazing Ha Long jointly held by Quang Ninh provincial People’s Committee and Vnexpress was launched at the Sun Carnaval Ha Long square.
The tournament attracted about 11,000 runners. It features 5km, 10km, 21km, and 42km races along the coastal road of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Ha Long Bay. This is also the first time the start and finish lines are set in different locations.
Athletes enjoy the charm of the coastal city and seascape along the running routes with stunning sceneries such as Ha Long, Vuon Dao, Hoang Quoc Viet, Sunworld beach, etc.
The organizing board awarded the first prize to best runners of different age groups (from 30 years old and under, 31-39; 40-49; 50-59, over 60 years old) in distances 42 km, 21 km, 10 km and 5 km.
The organizers also awarded the final prizes to the best male and female athletes.
The successful tournament not only helped the athletes discover beautiful places along the Ha Long Bay coastal running track, but also left an unforgettable impression on visitors about the tourism city of Ha Long.
