“The quest for the jade mark” - An immersive cave show debuts in Quang Ninh
On June 4, the immersive performance and culinary experience “The quest for the jade mark” officially premiered at Dragon Pearl Cave, located within the Vung Duc historical and scenic site in Cam Pha city. Blending cutting-edge multimedia technology with live performance and culinary artistry, the show offers a rich celebration of local culture and is poised to become a standout attraction in Quang Ninh’s summer tourism season.
This innovative project is co-organized by Asia Premium Cruises Corporation (APC Corporation) and Dragon Pearl Cave Co., Ltd.
Set in the heart of a natural cave, “The quest for the jade mark” takes audiences on an emotional journey through light, sound, and storytelling. For the first time in Vietnam, a live show of this kind unfolds in such a unique setting, reimagining the legendary tale of dragons descending upon Bai Tu Long and Ha Long Bays.
The performance honors Quang Ninh’s diverse cultural heritage from coastal and spiritual traditions to the iconic culture of its mining communities.
Entering Dragon Pearl Cave is like stepping into another world. Each scene is crafted like a living work of art, inviting the audience to reflect on the humanistic message of the ancient legend and the enduring desire for peace carried through generations. The multisensory journey aims to awaken deep emotional and cultural connections.

The show blends advanced stage technology with the raw beauty of the cave to create breathtaking visual moments. It incorporates modern multimedia effects with traditional performing arts including dance and acrobatics under the creative guidance of acclaimed Vietnamese artists. Visitors are treated to a rich, immersive experience that captures the soul of Vietnamese artistry.
Complementing the performance is an exclusive fine-dining experience right inside the cave. Guests are invited to enjoy a premium menu featuring fresh, local ingredients especially Quang Ninh’s signature seafood prepared in traditional styles. Dishes include shrimp, oysters, seabass, hand-pounded Co To squid cakes, Tien Yen chicken, bánh gật gù (nodding cake), and thịt kho nhục (braised pork belly), offering a true taste of the region.
As part of Quang Ninh’s strategy to develop unique tourism offerings, “The quest for the jade mark” positions Dragon Pearl Cave as a new cultural landmark. More than just an entertainment product, the show enhances the value of local heritage, enriches the visitor experience, and contributes to the province’s ambitious goal of welcoming 20 million tourists and achieving economic growth of over 14% this year and in the years to come.
From now until June 9, the show is open daily with free admission for Quang Ninh residents and neighboring communities. It will officially open to all visitors from June 10.
