Roughly 250,000 tourists visited Quang Ninh during National Day holiday
Quang Ninh welcomed nearly 250,000 tourists during the recent four-day National Day holiday.
Tourists mainly visit some renowned attractions such as Ha Long Bay (nearly 58,000 tourist arrivals), Quang Ninh Museum (15,000tourist arrivals), Sunworld Ha long Entertainment Park (about 40,000 tourist arrivals), etc.
Beside such tourist hotspots, some localities endowed with natural advantages for sea and island tourism such as Co To and Van Don saw a remarkable increase in the number of tourists.
In Mong Cai city, the number of tourists considerably increased owing to the inauguration of the Van Don-Mong Cai highway. The city welcomed about 150,400 visitors, the largest number since the beginning of the year. Almost all hotels and guesthouses were fully booked and famous attractions such as Sa Vi cape, Tra Co beach, the central market, Mong Cai border gate, etc. were bustling with visitors.
Quang Ninh’s tourism companies and service providers have made constant efforts to ensure the quality of products and services to meet the increasing demands.
In 2022, Quang Ninh's tourism industry strives to lure a total tourist arrivals of over 9.5 million, including over 1.4 million foreign ones.
The total revenue from tourism activities is projected to reach about VND 19,000 billion and the budget revenue from tourism activities is estimated to be over VND 1,700 billion.
