Quang Ninh welcomes 1st visitors of the Lunar New Year 2025

On the morning of January 29 (or the first day of the Lunar New Year 2025), a welcome event for the first visitors of the new year was jointly organized by the Department of Tourism and Ha Long city.

Tourists, together with representatives from the Department of Tourism, took check-in photos at Tuan Chau International Passenger Port on the first day of the Lunar New Year 2025.

Tuan Chau International Passenger Port, one of the gateways for visitors to Ha Long Bay, this morning welcomed more than 2,500 domestic and international tourists with a lively lion dance performance and festive spring melodies. Representatives from the Department of Tourism, Ha Long City, and relevant agencies presented flowers, gave "lì xì" (lucky money), and extended best wishes to the first visitors of the lunar new year.

It is expected that during the 2025 Lunar New Year holiday, Tuan Chau International Passenger Port will welcome around 30,000 visitors, more than double the number from the previous year.

Representatives from the Department of Tourism, Ha Long city, and relevant agencies presented flowers and "li xi" (lucky money) to the first tourists of the lunar new year.

Hotels in Ha Long city are also bustling with excitement as they welcome hundreds of international visitors. The number of tourists is expected to continue rising during the At Ty Lunar New Year holiday.

Visitors will have the opportunity to explore famous destinations such as Ha Long Bay, Quang Ninh Museum and many other impressive attractions in Ha Long City by participating in city tours featuring cultural and culinary experiences.

Quang Ninh province aims to welcome 20 million visitors in 2025, contributing to positioning Quang Ninh as a leading tourism center in Vietnam, an attractive destination for both domestic and international tourists.
