It is reported that in the first quarter, QNPPC has granted 2 investment certificates for FDI projects with the total investment capital of over US$ 86 mln, including a joint venture project on Lam Ngoc villa (Tuan Chau island) with the total registered investment capital of US$ 43 mln; the one on milling wheat Plant at Cai Lan extended industrial park with the total registered investment capital of US$ 43,6 mln.
To date, there are 91 valid FDI projects with the total registered investment capital of more than US$ 3.83 bln. Along with that, since the beginning of the year, many large groups from the U.S, Korea, Japan, Thailand… coming to Quang Ninh to seek for investment opportunities in Hai Ha seaport project; Van Don economic zone project; Van Don airport project, and other projects within the province.
Additionally, they also explored opportunities to invest in industrial parks in Quang Ninh to construct a plant specializing in information technology and communication, e.t.c.
