On July 21, Quang Ninh’s Vice Chairman Cao Tuong Huy had a courtesy meeting with a delegation of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) led by senior energy economist Huynjun Lee.
Senior energy economist Huynjun Lee introduced an overview of smart city and energy saving projects which are being researched by ADB in cities of Vietnam such as Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Hanoi, Quang Nam, Da Nang and Can Tho. ADB hoped to be able to access to the latest information about Quang Ninh’s socio-economic development and future orientations to complete the pre-feasibility study of the project.
Quang Ninh’s Vice Chairman Cao Tuong Huy thanked the ADB for choosing Quang Ninh as one of the six localities to study the implementation of the smart city and energy saving projects in Vietnam. To ensure the timeline of the projects, Vice Chairman assigned leaders of the relevant departments, sectors and localities to closely work with the ABD’s delegation.
