On July 13, Quang Ninh’s Chairman Nguyen Van Thang chaired a meeting to review the progress of implementing projects under the Smart City Project, e-government, digital government and the trail operation of the smart city operation center with the Government and Prime Minister’s operation center.
According to a report from the provincial Department of Information and Communications, regarding the smart city project, from 2017 until now, 8 out of 17 component projects have been completed. After reviewing the projects’ implementation progress, Quang Ninh’s Chairman Nguyen Van Thang acknowledged departments, sectors and localities’ efforts in undertaking component projects which greatly contributed to administration at all levels, administration reform to serve people and enterprises. To accelerate the projects’ progress, Quang Ninh’s Chairman asked departments, sectors and localities to complete the settlement of completed projects and urgently carry out the projects under e-Government and Digital Government projects from 2019 and in 2020.
