On the afternoon of September 28, Quang Ninh’s Chairman, Nguyen Van Thang, had a courtesy meeting with Joonyeon Choung, representative for GS Engineering & Construction Corp from South Korea, regarding investment opportunities in the province.
GS Engineering & Construction Corp is one of largest multi-sectorial corporation in South Korean. In Vietnam, the corporation is undertaking some big projects, mainly in the south of Vietnam. It plans to expand its investment to the north. In Quang Ninh, the corporation is reaching agreement with Amata Group on implementing projects in Quang Yen Town. GS Engineering & Construction Corp hopes to co-ordinate with Quang Ninh in the field of environment and waste water treatment in the locality.
Speaking at the reception, Quang Ninh’s Chairman said that the province is undertaking waste water treatment and environmental protection projects. He affirmed that Quang Ninh pledges to creating the most favorable conditions for South Korean investors to research investment opportunities in all fields in the province.
