On June 25, Quang Ninh’s Chairman Nguyen Van Thang hosted a meeting regarding the proposals of investment projects in the province.
After listening to comments and contribution raised by relevant departments, sectors and localities, Quang Ninh’s Chairman highly appreciated the willingness, research as well as proposals of the investors.
Regarding the investment proposal of VAC agro-forestry production farm in Hoanh Bo ward, Ha Long city, Quang Ninh’s Chairman required the investor to review the planning area ensuring no expansion, no permision of investment in the existing forest area while the provincial investment promotion agency must proactively implement procedures for project approval. Mentioning Vinpearl Cam Pha Golf Course project which creates new culture, sport and tourism product to lure tourists to Cam Pha city, Quang Ninh’s Chairman said that the planning area adjacent to some areas of national defense land and protection forest land. Therefore, the provincial investment promotion agency should prepare the report submitted to the provincial People’s Council for consideration.
