On July 6, Quang Ninh’s Vice-chairman, Bui Van Khang, had a working session with Thai Ambassador to Vietnam, Tanee Sangrat.
To dates, Quang Ninh has 5 projects with a total direct investment capital of nearly 200 million USD from Thailand. Within the scope of cooperation project “Heritage Triangle” connecting Ha Long Bay (Quang Ninh, Vietnam) with Ban Chiang (Udon Thani, Thailand) and Luang Prabang (Luang Prabang, Laos), both sides have exchanged information and supported advertisement via websites, social media…
Both sides hoped to strengthen measures in order to boost further cooperation between Quang Ninh in particular and Vietnam in general with Thailand in the fields of investment, trade, and tourism, especially in cooperative mechanism in the “Heritage Triangle” project among Thailand - Laos - Vietnam in general and Udon Thani (Thailand) - Quang Ninh (Vietnam) in particular.
After the meeting, Thai Ambassador visited Van Don Econimic Zone and Quang Ninh’s major construction works.
