On the morning of September 23, at the Quang Ninh City Convention Centre, the Quang Ninh City People’s Committee held the 2026 Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation Forum under the theme “Green and digital transformation for climate change adaptation, contributing to Quang Ninh’s fast and sustainable development”.
The forum was held both in person and virtually, with online links to 54 communes, wards and special zones. It was also livestreamed on Internet platforms, allowing a large number of residents to follow the event.
At the forum, experts and scientists discussed a range of issues, including Quang Ninh’s priorities for 2026–2030 in linking green growth, data and climate resilience; trends in innovation associated with green and digital transformation and new development opportunities created by national policies; planning solutions, green and grey infrastructure, sponge cities and nature-based solutions suited to coastal, island and mountainous areas; and planning for Quang Ninh in the new period as a foundation for promoting green growth and sustainable development. Delegates also visited an exhibition area showcasing and introducing products in science and technology, innovation and digital transformation.
