Quang Ninh’s sea-crossing longest bridge to be completed

The project of Van Tien bridge connecting two districts of Van Don and Tien Yen has been almost accomplished. The province’s longest bridge is expected to open to traffic in late December, 2021.

Van Tien bridge is designed with a length of 1,515m and three cantilevered spans. The surface is 25.25m in width and meet the standard for a highway including 4 lanes for cars and 2 lanes for emergency stops to ensure a maximum speed of 120km/h.

The intersection connecting Van Tien bridge with Tien Yen district, National Highway 18, National Highway 4B and Tien Yen 1 bridge has also almost completed. The work is expected to be completed by the end of December 2021.
