After a pause of tourism activities for Covid 19 prevention and control, tourist sites, service businesses in the province are allowed to reopen for visitor from 12 p.m on May 1. Strictly following the direction of the Government, Vietnam National Administration of Tourism and Quang Ninh province, tourism sector’s preparation for reoperation is seriously controlled, ensuring safe tourism environment for locals and tourists.
To ensure the best and safest services for locals and tourists, tourist sites, tourism and service establishments in the province have focused on preparing essential conditions to improve the quality of services and building capacity for human resouce as well. Along with that, pandemic prevention and control is given top priority in line with the direction of the province and Vietnam National Administration of Tourism.
At Yen Tu relic site, tourist attractions such as pilgrim village, Legacy resort, cable car etc are ready to welcome tourists. Medical check-up, body temperature check, hand sanitizer, face masks wearing are required for all vistors before entering relic sites.
At Tuan Chau International Passenger Port in Ha Long city, the reception of visitors to Ha Long Bay is well prepared. Hand sanitizer and body temperature check are fully arranged at all gates of the port. Effective measures to keep a safe distance among visitors are also implemented. Functional forces are ready to ensure that the reception of tourists takes place normally while stricly following disease prevention and control rules.
At tourist sites such as Bai Chay (Ha Long city), Tra Co (Mong Cai city) and Minh Chau, Quan Lan (Van Don district), owners of restaurants and hotels have mobilized their staff to tidy up rooms, dining rooms, kitchens etc, signed contracts with fishermen and aquaculture trading agents to ensure high-quality seafood, thus meeting tourists’ demand. In parallel with receiving visitors, these businesses are committed to strictly undertake Covid 19 prevention and control measures as regulated.
The resume of tourism activities will be an important condition for Quang Ninh to quickly recover and promote the strong development of its tourism and service sector.
