Quang Ninh advocates expanding Ngoa Van – Ho Thien Project

On May 7, Secretary of Quang Ninh Provincial Party’s Committee cum Chairman of Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Council, Nguyen Van Doc chaired a meeting regarding the adjustment of 1/500 scaled planning of the cable car system and services zone at Ngoa Van – Ho Thien Pagodas historical relic complex in Dong Trieu Town.

The proposal was presented by Tam Duc Telpher Service Joint Stock Company and consultant firm Raymond (Japan). Accordingly, the study zone includes 10 divisions, supporting the promotion of relics’ values under the master planning on preservation and promotion Tran Dynasty’s historical relics in Dong Trieu in the harmony with landscape along the Ngoa Van – Yen Tu pilgrimage route, exploiting Ben Chau, Dong Do, Trai Loc lakes and expanding cable car stations and relic sites.

The investor was asked by the provincial leaders to update their survey in order to ensure harmonious division of the components; while paying special attention to forests, developing tourist information sites and making reports on total investment values and investment stages…The highlighted components under this project include Farm Village which will apply Japanese technologies; a Zen village; a Buddhism Academy, a Medical Area, Conference and Festival Hall, Tran Nhan Tong Museum, Golden Pagoda, Flower Valley, a resort and a playground for children, etc. The construction is planned to kick off in the fourth quarter of 2019 and completed in 2021.

In conclusion of the meeting, Mr. Doc highly appreciated the proposed idea and advocated the implementation of the project. He added that in terms of investment component, the project should focus on three highlights of Ngoa Van Pagoda, Da Chong (Overlapped rocks) site and Ho Thien Pagoda.
