PPC Chairman Cao Tuong Huy received the US-ASEAN Business Council delegation
During their trip to Vietnam, the US-ASEAN Business Council (USABC) delegation led by USABC Senior Vice President and Regional Managing Director, Brian D.McFeeters, visited Quang Ninh province on December 12. Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, Cao Tuong Huy, warmly welcomed the delegation.
The business delegation also included 7 leading IT firms namely Google, IBM, Intel, Cisco Systems, Mastercard, SAP, and Tilleke & Gibbins.
Chairman Cao Tuong Huy expressed his warm welcome to the delegation. He told his guests that Quang Ninh represents the development potential and dynamism of Vietnam, and the province holds an important strategic geographical position, serving as a gateway connecting Vietnam with China and other ASEAN countries.
Quang Ninh considered technological development a key factor in its socio-economic development plan and hoped to receive much support and cooperation from USABC and leading IT firms in implementing such desirable projects.
Speaking at the meeting, Ted Osius, USABC Senior Vice President and Regional Managing Director, Brian D.McFeeters praised Quang Ninh for its efforts to develop sustainably, especially in field of technology.
He show his belief in the province’s growth prospects and commit to act as a bridge connecting Quang Ninh and those want to seek business and investment cooperation chances in this locality.
