My Khe on Asia's beautiful beach list: Tripadvisor

My Khe in the central city of Da Nang ranked eighth on a list of Asia's 10 most beautiful beaches as voted by readers of U.S. travel site Tripadvisor.

The 900-meter-long My Khe, which runs from the base of the Son Tra Peninsula to the Marble Mountains, is famous for its smooth white sand and warm waters all year round. It also offers a variety of adventure sports activities.

Parasailing costs around VND500,000 ($22) for a 15-minute ride.

The Travelers' Choice Awards rankings of favorite beaches were made based on tens of millions of reviews submitted by millions of global travelers over the past 12 months.

Radhanagar Beach in India was voted as Asia's best, followed by Kelingking Beach in Indonesia, and Benaulim Beach in India.

The rest of the list included Mirissa Beach in Sri Lanka, Nai Harn Beach, Chaweng Beach and Kata Noi Beach in Thailand, Yonaha Maehama Beach in Japan and Haeundae Beach in South Korea.
