‘Make in Vietnam’ digital product awards 2023 launched
The awards aim to honour excellent digital technology products that are developed, designed and created in Vietnam and have been applied in practice.
The Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) held a press briefing on July 12 to launch the Make in Vietnam Digital Technology Product Awards 2023.
This is a prestigious award in the field of information and communications technology (ICT), organised annually by the MIC to honour Vietnamese organisations and enterprises with excellent digital technology products.
Speaking at the press briefing, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Huy Dung said that the award has created many spillover effects, promoting the development of Vietnam’s ICT industry. Many award-winning products have made important contributions to the digital transformation of Government agencies, businesses and people.
“Many products have been applied widely, contributing to changing lives in many remote villages that we previously thought would take a long time to adjust. People now can promote and sell their products everywhere at reasonable cost while having access to high quality medical services through telemedicine solutions. People can also access distance learning, remote working, and huge knowledge and information for their lives,” said Deputy Minister Dung.
This is the fourth year the awards have been held, receiving entries from July 12 to October 12, 2023.
