From October 28 to 31, Quang Ninh will host the 2026 Meet Indonesia. The event is an important diplomatic initiative aimed at translating the Vietnam - Indonesia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership into concrete actions.
More than 350 Indonesian delegates, together with representatives from central government agencies and provinces and cities across Vietnam, are expected to attend. Discussion sessions will cover trade, investment and infrastructure; sustainable tourism linkages; industrial park surveys; promotion of investment, trade and tourism.
Vice Chairman of the Quang Ninh City People’s Committee Le Van Anh asked relevant departments, agencies, and local authorities to coordinate closely in making thorough, professional preparations for facilities and logistics. Preparations must also meet the Indonesian delegation’s cultural and religious requirements, including Halal food standards.
