MEET INDONESIA 2026 took place in Quang Ninh City on the morning of October 30, with the participation of Le Van Anh, Vice Chairman of the Quang Ninh City People’s Committee; Nguyen Thi Hoang Van, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs; and Adam Mulawarman Tugio, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to Viet Nam.
At the conference, experts shared their insights during two discussion sessions: “Trade, investment and infrastructure in the green and digital era: shaping the future of sustainable development” and “Co-creating the future: Advancing sustainable tourism linkages and building a comprehensive Halal ecosystem”.
The sessions brought together a wide range of perspectives, initiatives and practical proposals, opening up concrete avenues for collaboration in areas of shared interest. The discussions also laid an important foundation for localities, businesses and partners from both countries to deepen their ties in the years ahead.
The event provided an opportunity for agencies, localities and businesses from the two countries to build partnerships, identify priority areas for collaboration, and work towards implementing practical and effective programmes and projects.
Earlier, as part of MEET INDONESIA 2026, the Quang Ninh City People’s Committee held the Quang Ninh-Indonesia Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Conference 2026.
