A national candlelit vigil was held at the Hanoi Martyrs Cemetery on July 26 to commemorate those who sacrificed themselves during resistance wars and peacetime.

The vigil is held at the Hanoi Martyrs Cemetery, the resting place of 2,188 martyrs.
Members of the military and public security forces are present at the cemetery from 6 pm to prepare for the service.
