Ha Long: Authorities, units and residents work overnight to recover from typhoon Yaghi

Ha Long city has launched a 7-day peak campaign to overcome the consequences of the storm Yagi. Local authorities, functional forces and people worked overnight to overcome the consequences with a view to restoring normal life as soon as possible.

Under this plan, the city has mobilized various units to organize the collection of all fallen trees on main roads, clean up the environment, help schools, hospitals and landslide vulnerable points, as well as provide rescue services.

Many age-old trees on Hong Gai ward's Le Thanh Tong Street fell down during the storm. The Ward People's Committee mobilized local people and businesses to clean up thoes fallen trees overnight. 50% of the fallen trees have been moved away from the residential area.
