First rehearsal for the 2024 Ha Long Carnival Festival
Thousands of amateur and professional actors and actreeses participated in the first rehearsal for the 2024 Ha Long Carnival Festival held on the evening of April 25 at Bai Chay ward in Ha Long city. Prominent among those at the event was Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People's Committee, Nguyen Thi Hanh.
The opening ceremony of the 2024 Ha Long Carnival Festival will be held on April 28, featuring performances and parades on both the sea and sandy shores of the popular UNESCO-recognised bay for the first time.
The festival will bring together domestic creative teams, leading artists, and craftsmen, as well as troupes from Japan’s Hokkaido, China’s Guangxi, Laos, Thailand, and Europe. The stage is set to harmoniously combine elements both on the shore and on the sea, with hundreds of vessels participating.
The program will incorporate elements of musical theater art, harmoniously combining with history and culture to highlight the values of the Ha Long Bay natural heritage.
A notable highlight of the 2024 Carnival will be the drone light displays, featuring illuminated models combined with fireworks displays, LED technology, sound, and light, etc.
