Duong Hoa Tea Flower Festival to open on October 26 in Hai Ha

The Duong Hoa Tea Flower Festival will take place in Hai Ha district’s Quang Long commune from October 26 to 27.  

The festival will consist of two important rituals namely carrying water from the source and carrying ancient tea trees and various responding activities such as a bicycle race to explore the tea hills and Truc Bai Son lake in Quang Son commune, an exhibition on tea products and local OCOP products.

There will be an exhibition on beautiful photos of Hai Ha district, a folk dance perfomance on tea plantation, a tea-making art show, a tea picking competition, Ao Dai shows, a running race around tea hills, and various folk games like tug of war, stick pushing and the opening of the Eastern Clubs' volleyball tournament.

Hai Ha district also organized the Final round of the 2nd Hai Ha district Singing Contest 2024.

Located in the Northeast region of Quang Ninh, Hai Ha district has a total natural area of 69,013 hectares, with a 35km coastline and a 17.2km land border with China.

Hai Ha has rich natural resources, with diverse terrain such as plains, mountains and islands. It has an important political, economic and defense - security position in Quang Ninh province.

Those who have the opportunity to pass through this district will be speechless because right next to National Highway 18A are green tea hills. Quang Long commune located 7km away from Hai Ha district. It has 40ha of green tea aiming for tourism purpose at 8th and 9th village. Traveling to Quang Long commune on these days, tourists will enjoy the green scene of thousands of hills and green tea leaves that not only bring high economic value but also the excellent place for tourists to visit, experience.
