On September 25, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the City People's Committee Bui Van Khang held a courtesy meeting with Chairman of China Road and Bridge Corporation Wang Rong.
During the meeting, Mr. Wang Rong expressed his gratitude for the warm reception extended by the city leadership and departments of Quang Ninh. He shared his strong impression of the city's dynamic development, particularly its robust transport and industrial infrastructure seamlessly connected with border gates.
Drawing on over 30 years of experience in transportation infrastructure construction, the company proposed exploring and conducting research on undertaking technical and transport infrastructure projects. The company also expressed its desire to deploy information technology applications in the management and operation of intelligent transport systems across the city, thereby contributing to local economic growth and enhancing the quality of life for local residents.
Chairman Bui Van Khang thanked the company for its keen interest in Quang Ninh’s infrastructure and transport projects. He briefed the delegation on the city's recent investment attraction achievements and outlined upcoming plans for budget-funded and non-budget-funded projects. The Chairman affirmed that the company's proposals align closely with the city's strategic development orientation.
Concluding the meeting, the Chairman assigned relevant municipal departments and agencies to proactively coordinate with the partner to exchange information and provide guidance on urban planning and local projects, ensuring favorable conditions for investors in alignment with the city's development in the new phase.
