Buckwheat flowers in the outskirt of Ha Long
The feeling of being lost in the "paradise" of the red and pink colour of buckwheat flowers right in the suburbs of Ha Long makes all visitors become allured from the first minute.
Triangle buckwheat is a plant belonging to the rice, bounced from rice and corn, so-called Buckwheat, means “mach” in Vietnamese. Bunched petals make cone shape-“tam giac”; three triangles keep a particle in the middle. Flowers are fragile but own a wild beauty – an endless source of inspiration of traveller.
Located in the ouskirt of Ha Long city, it only takes about 15-30 minutes to enjoy the beauty of these flowers at the Quang La Flower Paradise, an ecotourism area at Quang La commune.
This is a very famous attraction in Quang La commune, about 20km from Dong Che along the Highway No. 279.
In order to prepare for this year's buckwheat flower season, agricultural engineers have thoroughly studied and adjusted the condition of weather and soil so that the flowers here are as beautiful as those in the Northwest, the homeland of the triangle buckwheat.
The notable difference is that triangle buckwheat is planted continuously, which makes its flower bloom season last longer. Each season often startes in November, blooms fully in December and ends in April of the following year.
Quang La Flower Paradise is also famous for a variety of beautiful flowers such as sunflower, cauliflower, etc.
Restaurants, campsites and other tourism services are also available here.
