Binh Lieu Yellow Season Festival 2023 features ethnic colours
As part of the activities to mark the 60 th founding anniversary of the province (October 30, 1963-2023), the 2023 Culture-Tourism Week and the Binh Lieu Yellow Season Festival is taking place in Binh Lieu mountainous district. The opening ceremony was held at Luc Hon commune on October 21.
This is the 4th time Binh Lieu district has held this festival, aiming to preserving and promoting traditional cultural values of the district as well aswelcoming 150,000 visitors to Binh Lieu in 2023.
The 2023 Culture-Tourism Week and the Binh Lieu Yellow Season Festival is also the message of a beautiful district with historical traditions and cultural identities as well as rustic and honesty locals that ethnic minority people in Binh Lieu District want to promote to visitors.
The event also aims to affirm Binh Lieu as a safe, friendly, and attractive destination in the Northeast of Quang Ninh province.
This year’s festival features various attractive cultural and sport activities from October to November such as new rice season festival of Tay ethnic people, the display of One Commune One Product (OCOP) and agricultural products, the experience of climbing and camping on Cao Xiem Mountain, the Women's Football Tournament of ethnic groups in Binh Lieu District, folk games, the showcase of ethnic minority groups’ costumes, taking check-in photos on terraced fields, a paragliding tournament, and a mountain climbing tournament.
