Ben Rung bridge under construction

Having been launched in May 2023, the project of Ben Rung bridge has reached over 50% of the total workload. The bridge is expected to complete the traffic network between Hai Phong, Quang Ninh and the northern region.

The bridge, spanning the Da Bach River, has a total investment of nearly 2 trillion VND (86.6 million USD).

The bridge measures over 1.87km in length and 21.5m in width with six lanes.

Hai Phong and Quang Ninh are two localities with strong infrastructural development; therefore, the bridge completing the traffic network between Hai Phong, Quang Ninh and the northern region is expected to become a driving force for regional development and creating jobs for many people.

The project has reached over 50% of the total workload
13/18 bridge piers have been completed, 136/162 beams have been cast, 10/18 spans have been installed, and 8/18 spans have been concreted on Quang Ninh side
3/16 bridge piers have been completed, 59/144 beams have been cast, and 2/16 girder spans have been installed on the side of Hai Phong city.
The bridge has been under construction.
Bridge girders are cast at the construction site.
Over 200 hundred engineers and workers have currently been mobilized to conduct the project.
