Acting PPC Chairman Cao Tuong Huy received an aviation industry investor

Acting Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Cao Tuong Huy, has hosted in Ha Long city a reception for HAECO Electrical Mechanical Group (HAECO), one of the world’s leading aircraft engineering and maintenance service providers.

At the meeting, General Director of HAECO Group Richard Sell expressed his firm impression with the remarkable development of Quang Ninh and revealed intention to conduct research and invest in the province.

Acting Chairman Cao Tuong Huy expressed his warm welcome to Richard Sell, General Director of HAECO Group and his delegation. He told his guests that Quang Ninh represents the development potential and dynamism of Vietnam, and the province holds an important strategic geographical position, serving as a gateway connecting Vietnam with China and other ASEAN countries.

In terms of the aviation industry, Quang Ninh is home to Van Don airport, but the province's aviation logistics infrastructure hasn't developed yet despite being a prioritised sector. Thus, he suggested a collaboration between HAECO and Sun Group, the investor in the Van Don Airport, to soon deploy the logistics project.

The province welcomed potential investors and commited to offer assistance with investment procedures, location, staff selection, and other activities, he added.
