On July 10, in Ha Long city, Deputy Secretary of QN Provincial Party Committee Do Thi Hoang has received and worked with a delegation of the Lao Central Trade Union Federation (LTUF) led by its President Khamla Lolonsy.
At the meeting, the President of Quang Ninh Trade Unions Do Thi Lan has made a brief report on the trade union’s activities in recent years and hoped the cooperation tie between trade union of the two sides will be further developed.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Secretary Hoang has reviewed the traditional friendship and solidarity between Lao and Vietnam in general and between Lao and Quang Ninh province in particular. She also wished that the relationship between Quang Ninh and other localities in Laos will be tightened and developed in the future.
Additionally, some of the basic guidelines of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party’s Committee in trade union activities were exchanged with the delegation. On this occasion, the delegation visited the Ha Long Bay World Heritage site on July 11th.
