37 free coaches carry thousands of workers back hometowns to enjoy Tet

37 zero-dong coaches carrying 1,635 passengers departed from Hon Gai Coal Company to their hometowns in various provinces this morning, February 5 (or the 26th day of the last lunar month).

37 zero-dong coaches carried 1,635 passengers to their hometowns in Thai Binh, Nam Dinh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Giang, Dien Bien, etc.

Workers gathered at Vietnam-Japan Cultural Palace in the early morning.

Breakfast is also offered for free.

"I feel really happy and safe to take this free coach home with family", said coal miner Nguyen Thanh Vinh.

Company leaders and staff see off thousands of workers returing their hometown for Tet.
These coaches will bring them back to work on February 14 (or the 5th day of the first lunar month).
