From September 23-24, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will coordinate with the Quang Ninh City People’s Committee to organise the 2026 National Travel Conference and the 2027 Tourism Promotion Conference, attracting around 250 delegates.
The 2026 National Travel Conference will focus on providing information and assessing travel business activities in 2026, analysing market developments and remaining issues, and proposing key solutions to improve operational efficiency and create more favourable conditions for businesses and tourists.
The 2027 Tourism Promotion Conference will focus on discussing orientations and tasks for tourism promotion and marketing in the coming year. The conference will also include a seminar entitled “Joining forces to promote Vietnamese tourism”, aimed at developing and implementing focused promotion campaigns tailored to specific markets and visitor groups.
Sideline activities will include a Quang Ninh famtrip programme, a presentation on Quang Ninh tourism, and B2B networking between Quang Ninh businesses and travel companies and partners from within and outside the city.
Hosting this series of national-scale events will provide Quang Ninh with an opportunity to directly showcase the destination’s outstanding advantages, from marine and island tourism, cultural and ecological products to new products currently being invested in and refined. In particular, through the famtrip programme and business networking activities, Quang Ninh’s distinctive products and services, including OCOP products, will be introduced directly to travel companies and market partners.
