On September 17, the 23rd China - ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) and China - ASEAN Business and Investment Summit and (CABIS) 2026 opened in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China. Vice Chairman of the Quang Ninh City People’s Committee Le Van Anh, together with representatives of the city’s departments, sectors and businesses, attended the event.
The expo features more than 120 businesses and organisations from 22 provinces and cities across Vietnam, showcasing products and services over nearly 5,000 m2, with nearly 200 standard booths covering agricultural products, processed foods, footwear, consumer goods, household products, wooden products, handicrafts and technology solutions. Notably, Vietnam’s commercial pavilion continues to be the largest among ASEAN countries participating in the expo.
Quang Ninh City is showcasing more than 50 four- and five-star OCOP products at the expo. Among them are several national five-star OCOP products that have attracted consumer interest, including Binh Lieu arrowroot vermicelli, “ba kich” herbal liquor, Quy Hoa Yellow Flower Tea, Viet Tu Tea and Bavabi shredded seafood products.
A number of events chaired by the Ministry of Industry and Trade are also being held as part of the expo, including the Vietnam - China Trade, Investment and Technology Cooperation Forum; the 2026 International Cooperation Promotion Conference of the China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone; and the ASEAN Industrial Park Investment Promotion Conference and project networking activities.
