On October 14, the luxury cruise ship Viking Venus docked at Ha Long International Cruise Port, bringing approximately 1,400 international tourists to Quang Ninh, mainly from Europe and the United States.
During their two-day stay, the visitors will visit well-known attractions, including Ha Long Bay, Quang Ninh Museum and Yen Duc Village. They will also experience local culture and cuisine and enjoy shopping. Excursions to Hanoi’s Old Quarter, Bat Trang Ceramic Village and neighbouring localities are also among the popular options.
In 2026, Quang Ninh expects to welcome around 70 cruise ship calls, bringing approximately 100,000 international tourist arrivals. The continued arrival of cruise ships is helping boost international visitor numbers and creating opportunities to develop higher-quality cruise tourism.
