Alongside upgrading their vessels and services, cruise operators are strengthening partnerships with international travel companies to expand their reach into new markets. They are also focusing on personalised services and enhancing visitors’ heritage experiences, in line with the shift towards green and sustainable tourism. These efforts are helping enhance Ha Long Bay’s appeal to international visitors. Quang Ninh is pursuing a policy of maintaining the current size of its cruise fleet while prioritising improvements in quality and encouraging the development of modern tourist vessels for Bai Tu Long Bay. This approach aims to restructure tourism products and strengthen the city’s appeal of its marine and island destinations, particularly to international visitors.
