On September 21, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Chairman of the Quang Ninh People's Committee Bui Van Khang hosted a courtesy reception for Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States to Vietnam Jennifer Wicks, during her working visit to Quang Ninh.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on the current status and results of cooperation, as well as future orientations to promote bilateral relations between Quang Ninh and U.S. partners across various fields.
Discussions focused on trade, education and training, culture, sports, tourism, people-to-people diplomacy, and cooperation within economic zones in Quang Ninh.
Both sides also deliberated on upcoming exchange and cooperative activities, while sharing information and proposing practical measures to strengthen ties and connectivity between Quang Ninh and U.S. localities and partners.
